5 PKR members leave for Taiwan
KUALA LUMPUR: Five PKR members flew to Taipei, Taiwan, on Friday. Following close on the heels of the Barisan Nasional backbenchers, the PKR leaders have been sent to Taiwan 'to see how agricultural progress can be made.'
Election bureau deputy head Fuziah Salleh (Kuantan MP) flew off on Friday morning, while information chief Tian Chua (Batu MP), strategic director Saifuddin Nasution (Machang MP), supreme council member Low Chee Cheong and Elizabeth Wong (Selangor state executive councillors) are flying off at 2.20pm.

Well, nice to know PKR can be equally as silly as their BN counterparts. Sounds like a slapstick movie, one group of people chasing the other all over Taiwan.
And they'd better have packed their umbrellas and wellies because:
Taiwan Braces For Sinlaku
TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) — Taiwan is bracing for Typhoon Sinlaku as the storm gains strength while approaching the island.
The Central Weather Bureau says that at 8 a.m. local time Friday, Sinlaku's center was about 200 miles southeast of Hualien, in eastern Taiwan.
It says the typhoon is packing winds of 115 mph, up from 109 mph. The storm is moving northeast at a speed of 5 mph.
The bureau says that if Sinlaku stays on its current course, it will brush past Taiwan's eastern coast Saturday.

Don't you think the name 'Sinlaku' is rather appropriate???

Datin, I like those two sentences. Hehehe...I can imagine this scene in cartoon form.
dear marina, i am a great fan and admirer of your writings, which are often so objective and heartening. why are you not running for PM? i would labour day and night to campaign for you!
the star article, in light of what's happening, is bizarrely hilarious!!!
Tian Chua would certainly fit the role. Looks and talks like a comedian too. Maybe someone stole the script from one of those Tamil movies....I wonder.
But the comedians never for once thought that this visit of so many ruling party Members of Parliament would give such a diplomatic headache. What was our foreign Minister doing? Sleeping? Or he hasn't had the time to read up on China's own sensitivities? PKR had the opportunity to put the BN MPs and BN itself in a right royal fix if only they had decided, as the new ruling party to be, they will take diplomatic sensitivities into consideration or something.
But then I guess you got to leave some amount of good sense behind when you become a politician I suppose.
So please Marina, just because fatboybakes thinks you might make a great PM, I'd hate to see you running around with any amount of your good sense left behind!!
Puan,
Re: Sinlaku.
Yep, very appropriate.
Selamat Berbuka Puasa and God Bless.
Good afternoon Marina,
Yes, it's a slapstick movie. Only thing is, it's not funny at all.
One party is so obsessed with mistrust and fear of their own team mates abandoning them despite the many assurances given. The other is obsessed with making the 916 prediction come true.
I wonder whether any one of them know their responsibilites and obligations to Malaysian raykats who voted for them. If I have the power and authority, I would make sure that everyone of them is home and doing their job instead of wasting our tax monies (even if it is from the BBC's fund, it is still derived from our taxes) and making Malaysia a fool in the eyes of the international community.
What a disgrace! Most of our policitians are guilty of being Malaysia's public enemy themselves as they failed to serve for the good of our beloved nation but instead squandering away our resources and projecting negative images for themselves and in turn, Malaysia.
'Enough is enough blockheads!' that's my message to them
hurm..
pening
melihat msia ari ini.
apa nk jd?
yeah ..betul...
Silly group of fellas.. BN wants to die in typhoon.. let them be lar..LOL
The comedy of errors continues. I can imagine the BN delegates running from one place to another chased by the PKR group. Ooops they are chased by Sinlaku.....Wonder how it will end? It will be comical if Sinlaku does not cross their path. What is happening to our country?
PKR team have gone to Taiwan to get back the PKR application forms already filled up by at least 31 Barisan MPs who are currently sightseeing and shopping in Taiwan. The silly BN team of backbencers also visited 2 universities the last 2 days to learn agriculture in Taiwan which was not recognised by our JPA and the graduates cannot get a government job in Malaysia . With the coming Sinlaku taufan, they are rushing back home in a day or two with bags full of souveniers and Raya shopping items. We wonder who paid for their silly trip if Datuk Sri Najib admitted that they did not use any government fund. The BN government think that we rakyat are stupid and believing them that they are not running away because of the Sept 16 haunting day . Any way, bye bye BN and thanks for all the good deeds to us in the last 50 years and Bon Voyage. Welcome Pakatan Rakyat and please take care of the rakyat well and don't end up like the greedy BN government.
Why did the stupid BN government arrested the Chinese reporter under ISA but not the kepala batu Dato Ahmad of Penang Hill who made the racial remarks! BN will fall damn hard this time due to this double standard arrest.
yeah it is indeed like a movie. and can merely 5 persons could change like 40 persons?
I read from the papers that the BN MPs are holed up at the Shangrila Resort in Yilan county in Taiwan. I have been there. They serve pork at every meal and one of the tourist attractions they have is a domesticated pig that tourists would take photos with.
It seem strange that the BN would choose such a destination, not to mention that this is puasa time.
people like you confuses other people to think that there are nobody left to be trusted in malaysia.
always, there are something up on their sleeves.
sadly, all of these goes the same for you, mm.
so disheartening to see a former pm daughter to be collosally idiot.
hey, YOU can label people idiots, why can't I?
